Community members and stakeholders play an important role in deciding how their communities develop by making their views known to local government leaders.

Engaging community members early and often in community planning processes ensures that ideas, research, conclusions and recommendations developed by Meraki are fair and accurate. Community involvement in the decision-making process also encourages people to contribute ideas and ensure that decision-makers address current issues and deliver community-oriented solutions. Our experts, with training from the International Association of Public Participation (iap2), create and implement communications and engagement strategies and project/organizational branding packages for municipalities, Indigenous communities, educational institutions, developers and non-profits that are balanced, open, innovative and collaborative, resulting in plans and polices and other deliverables that are community-supported and community-driven.
