Kitselas First Nation
Comprehensive Community Plan
Meraki partnered with Kitselas First Nation to support the development of their first Comprehensive Community Plan—a community-driven roadmap grounded in Kitselas values, aspirations, and long-term priorities. Through multiple rounds of engagement with on and off-Reserve Members, Elders, youth, staff and leadership, the planning process created space for meaningful conversations about community well-being, culture and language, governance, housing, economic development, land stewardship, and the future of Kitselas.
Recognizing that successful plans must be lived—not shelved—we worked closely with leadership and senior staff to develop a practical implementation framework, including an annual CCP Report Card to celebrate progress, guide work planning, and support budgeting. The project concluded with the production of a community film celebrating the adoption of the plan and sharing Kitselas’ vision for future generations.
