Skuppah

Council Strategic Plan

Meraki worked alongside Skuppah to develop a Member-informed Council Strategic Plan that provides a shared roadmap for governance over the next 20 years. Through extensive interactive engagement with Chief and Council, staff, and community Members, the Plan was shaped by the Nation’s values, vision, and aspirations, creating a practical framework for decision-making that reflects collective responsibility and long-term thinking. Designed specifically for the realities of a small, rural First Nation, the Plan recognizes the importance of building capacity, setting achievable priorities, and making the most of limited resources while advancing a long-term vision.

Recognizing that strategic plans are most effective when they are visible and actively used, the final Plan was presented as a large-format visual poster rather than a lengthy report. Combining thoughtful graphic design with strategic planning, the result is an engaging governance tool that supports accountability, keeps strategic priorities front and centre, and encourages ongoing conversations about Skuppah’s future.  (Contracted by McElhanny, Kamloops)
