Downtown Visioning Framework

Meraki partnered with the Village of Cache Creek to develop a community-supported vision for the future of its downtown, laying the groundwork for long-term revitalization and economic resilience. Building on the Village’s Economic Development Strategy, the project brought together residents, business owners, community organizations, and Council to identify opportunities to create a more vibrant, connected, and welcoming downtown.

Through a collaborative engagement process, we explored the community’s aspirations, priorities, and ideas for strengthening the downtown core. The resulting vision, goals, policies, and actions provide a practical framework to guide future investment, placemaking, and redevelopment while preserving the unique character of Cache Creek. The project also established a strong policy foundation for future incorporation into the Village’s Official Community Plan.
