Divisions of Family Practice Stakeholder Engagement

The Project

Oversee regional, community partnerships projects related to implementation of the Patient Medical Home Model and overall support of family physicians in the Thompson Region. Projects include, but are not limited to:

• Stakeholder engagement session development and facilitation on building community networks between family physicians, specialists and/or allied health professionals.
• Allied health professional engagement development to build networks between family physicians and allied health professionals in the region.
• Community Health Action Committee development and facilitation – the Committee brings together community stakeholders from government, business, the health sector, industry and non-profits to work toward a comprehensive community vision on primary health care in the region as well as support recruitment and retention of family physicians.
