Cache Creek Cannabis Regulatory Framework

The Project

Meraki was contracted by the Village of Cache Creek to develop their cannabis and industrial hemp municipal framework to support local investment in a way that would reflect community values and concerns.  We were responsible for all aspects of the work including set up of a project technical committee consisting of RCMP, Fire, Village Staff and School District representation, communications and engagement, technical analysis, mapping and framework development.  Engagement focused on community members and the business community to ensure input was gathered from diverse perspectives.  The framework was adopted by Council in the Spring of 2021.
