The Project
Meraki was contracted by Spuzzum First Nation to conduct a comprehensive review and update of the Nation's 2012 Comprehensive Development Plan. The project employed a grassroots approach, heavily reliant on community members' participation and input, support from a CCP Planning Team comprised of staff and community members, and Chief and Council Input. The end result was a refreshed, professionally designed, culturally relevant plan with a solid vision, updated goals and actions reflective of Member priorities. A detailed and realistic implementation plan was also developed to support keeping the Plan alive post adoption by Chief and Council.
