The Project
Meraki was contracted by the First Nations Public Service Secretariat to develop content for and facilitate two sharing circles on the topic of Indigenous food security and sovereignty. The project was established to support 35 Nations that received funding for food security-related projects under Stream 1 of the First Nations Well Being Fund. The intent of the sessions was to bring communities together to facilitate knowledge exchange, discuss project progress, provide a supportive environment for sharing experiences and to understand best practices in Indigenous Food Security at the local level.
