Meraki is pleased to have been selected by the First Nations Public Secretariat Service (FNPSS) to develop and implement a two-phased engagement strategy to support 15-20+ Indigenous communities across BC build their own wellness indicators to better understand how wellness can and should be measured at the local level. Today there is a greater understanding of how wellness and quality of life are defined, beyond the physical realm and a focus on the importance of Indigenous communities developing indicators from within verses those imposed on them by an antiquated, patriarchal system. We are so grateful to be a part of this project and look forward to learning just as much from the participants as we hope we can offer to them. Stay tuned for more!
