K5T Working Village

The Project

Meraki has been providing planning and development services to Kitselas Five Tier System toward the development of a working village in Terrace, BC. Set against the backdrop of the majestic Skeena River, the K5T Working Village will be an inclusive, intentional, healthy community with private living spaces and shared, multi-use spaces and intergenerational living opportunities for Indigenous people. The Working Village will not only allow for more training opportunities for participants of K5T programs, but also include office spaces, recreational facilities, a daycare, food production, and Indigenous student accommodation. This Working Village will be an inclusive and intentional community that meets every need of K5T program participants in one location.
